OK, so that should be spelled “dyed”… My daughter Raina has been wanting to dye her hair for a while now. She was a blonde baby, but her locks have turned into more of a honey brown as she got older, almost exactly like mine. Patti allowed her to dye red streaks in her bangs about six months ago, but you could hardly even see them…
Raina’s Grandma had taken her to
Hot Topic (I love that store...) and purchased a
beWild permanent
Blue/Black hair dye kit, like three months ago, but Patti was reluctant to let her use it. It’s just too goth for an 11 year old! At least that’s what her mother says… (did I ever mention that balance exists somewhere in-between Patti and I?).
Anyway, last night, I did my first, second and even technically a third dye job last night. The first and second were performed on Raina. I dyed the underside/bottom of her hair with the
beWild
Blue/Black hair dye kit and then did the top of her head with a blonde color.
Of course, there was all this left over blonde hair color that I couldn’t just let go to waste, so I’m looking a bit lighter these days myself! I really have to get a newer photo up here someday. I took the old one down as I found it a bit too scary...
OK, so it’s not the perfect application of scripture, but it does say in Hebrews 9:27, “
Everyone has to die once, then face the consequences”.
