Prayer Request

I got a call from my brother Justin in NY, right around 08:30PM CST. He told me that our father is in the hospital and it is considered a “serious” situation. My father, Ray, is a heart patient and has been on Coumadin, a blood thinner, since having a valve replacement a few years ago. He had to have a test this week and due to the test, the doctors apparently had to adjust his medications. It seems that the changes were a bit out of balance. This evening, around 08:00PM EST, he got a nose bleed, which for most people is no big deal, but if you are a hemophiliac or on blood thinners, it’s a potentially life and death situation. Justin told me that Pop was taken to the hospital (Vassar Brothers?) by ambulance and is being attended to by doctors to get the bleeding stopped. At the time of the call, he had been bleeding for about an hour and his blood pressure had dropped.

Please keep my mother Barbara and father, Raymond E LeGrand Jr in prayer. They celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary just yesterday…

Later-
Ray
